Jessica Pegula has pulled out of Roland Garros due to ongoing recovery, the World No.5 announced today. “I’m just about back to practising normal (haven’t had any issues for weeks) but played it super safe with recovery & return to play,” the American posted on Instagram. “If I had another 5-7 days I would have been there 100%. So I will definitely be back for a full grass season and the rest of the summer and grinding out the rest of the year.” ‘m just about back to practising normal (haven’t had any issues for weeks) but played it super safe with recovery & return to play,” the American posted on Instagram. “If I had another 5-7 days I would have been there 100%. So I will definitely be back for a full grass season and the rest of the summer and grinding out the rest of the year.”

A quarterfinalist at Roland Garros in 2022, Pegula has not played a match on red clay this season. Her last appearance on court came at the Billie Jean King Cup Qualifiers in Orlando in April, when she won both of her rubbers to help lead the U.S. to a 4-0 win over Belgium. Pegula’s overall record in 2024 is 14-6, including three semifinals at Adelaide, San Diego and Charleston.

Previously this year, a neck injury forced Pegula to withdraw from February’s Middle East swing. Her withdrawal ends her streak of 19 consecutive Grand Slam main draw appearances, dating back to Roland Garros 2019.

“I’ll do what I can, sir.” That’s all Wolfgang Van Halen said when he was asked to honor Ozzy Osbourne at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Polite. Humble. Understated. But what came next? Pure chaos—in the best way possible. The second Chad Smith, Robert Trujillo, and Andrew Watt hit their first notes, the air changed. Then Ozzy stormed in, ripping through “Crazy Train” like it was 1981 all over again—wild, loud, and alive. But just when the crowd thought they’d seen it all, Maynard James Keenan and Wolfgang came charging in, guitars blazing, lighting the place on fire. The energy was insane. And it didn’t stop there. Zakk Wylde and Jelly Roll followed up with a haunting, soul-crushing version of “Mama, I’m Coming Home” that had people wiping their eyes. And just when you thought your heart couldn’t take more, Billy Idol exploded onto the stage with “No More Tears,” shaking the walls and blowing the roof straight off. This wasn’t just a tribute. It was a thunderstorm of sound, sweat, and raw emotion—a night no one there will ever forget

BREAKING NEWS:  Rob Halford and His Husband Fire Back at Haters with One Unapologetic Message — ‘We’re Not Asking for Permission to Exist ’… “There’s always been noise. Even when I came out in 1998, people said, ‘You’ll lose your fans, your legacy, your power.’ And guess what?” Rob said, pausing for effect. “I’m still here. Still loud. Still metal. Still gay.
