Real Madrid’s long-standing interest in Liverpool centre-back Ibrahima Konaté is far from over. According to sources close to the Spanish giants, Los Blancos are keeping close tabs on the French international with an eye toward a bold move in 2026—when his current contract at Liverpool is due to expire.
Konaté, 25, has established himself as one of the Premier League’s most dominant defenders since his move from RB Leipzig in 2021.
