The Blues have been busy this summer and have already made seven new signings and the Dane is set to become the eighth new face at Stamford Bridge.
The squad are currently in America on their pre-season tour and face Celtic on Saturday, having drawn their first game against Wrexham on Wednesday evening.
Chelsea to complete Jorgensen deal this weekend
The Athletic reported earlier this week that the Blues hoped to complete two or three more signings by the end of the month and it appears they are closing in on one of those.
Despite signing both Robert Sanchez and Djordje Petrovic last summer, Chelsea are once again in the market for another keeper.
Jorgensen appears to be that man and Chelsea submitted an offer in the region of €20m for the 22-year-old earlier this week, and Romano has reported a deal is now imminent.
He took to X.com and said:
“Chelsea are expected to complete Filip Jorgensen deal with Villarreal this weekend, it’s imminent. Deal almost agreed as revealed yesterday with details to be completed shortly.”

Jorgensen has come through the ranks at Villarreal and established himself as the club’s number one last season as they finished eighth in La Liga.
He kept six clean sheets in 37 appearances in all competitions last season, but stats show he prevented the most goals in La Liga during the last campaign.
Despite impressing last season it appears Petrovic will be leaving the club after just one year, but it’s unclear whether that will be on loan or a permanent basis.
It’s likely Chelsea would make a profit on the £14m they paid for the Serbian last summer, and it appears he’s going to be the fall guy as there’s seemingly no market for Sanchez.
Jorgensen will be the third goalkeeper to arrive at the club in the last three windows, and it’s likely he will initially start as second choice, but it would be a surprise if he didn’t finish the season as the number one.
