**BREAKING NEWS:* Ozzy Osbourne took his final bow at the Back to the Beginning farewell concert, fans around the world began revisiting the echoes of his legacy—including an unexpected, powerful tribute from none other than Carrie Underwood. Her haunting 2023 cover of “Mama, I’m Coming Home,” performed on The Howard Stern Show, has resurfaced—reminding everyone just how deeply Ozzy’s music transcends genre. Before her emotional rendition, Carrie opened up about discovering Ozzy as a teenager (despite her mom’s disapproval) and fighting to show there’s beauty in the darkness: “There’s a lot of love songs… a lot more melodic and sweet.” With Sharon Osbourne’s blessing, Carrie delivered a cover so heartfelt and raw, it now feels like a fitting tribute to a legend stepping away from the stage…
Steven Tyler is older than Ozzy but still, stepped onto the Ozzy Osbourne tribute, grabbed the mic, and when he sang Led Zeppelin’s “Whole Lotta Love” it felt like time stopped. The way he screamed, moved, and lived every note of “Whole Lotta Love” made us all feel alive, connected, and grateful to witness it. Legends honoring legends, reminding us that rock never dies—it just keeps passing through every soul that sings along… Read Here
Sabbath formed the year I was born, first song I learned on guitar was Sweet L3af, saw Ozzy in ‘82 just after the plane crash, countless Ozfest’s, 1998 reunion show, etc etc….. I’ve seen a lot of fans talking about what band was uninvited, or who didn’t live up to the hype, or which band shouldn’t have been there… I watched the entire show and, for me, the lifetime soundtrack was as touching and meaningful as a McCartney concert… The only thing that I did expect, that didn’t happen – was that I fully thought we would see Lita Ford walk out with the double neck B.C. Rich and sing “Close My Eyes” either with Ozzy or someone else. After all it’s her highest charting single and the highest charting hit of Ozzy’s solo career. Such a monumental milestone. I’m not disappointed, just curiously puzzled as to why this was left out of the tribute. Perhaps because it was a Sabbath tribute more that just Ozzy solo
Sharon Osbourne stands out as a compelling and often divisive figure in the entertainment industry, known for her bold personality, sharp wit, and multifaceted career. While she initially gained recognition as the wife and manager of rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, it was her own unapologetic charm and tough-minded approach that turned her into a star. Her breakthrough came with *The Osbournes* in 2002, a groundbreaking reality TV show that offered an unfiltered look at her family’s chaotic, humorous life. Sharon’s frankness and biting humor made her a standout presence, and the show quickly became a pop culture sensation. Before her television fame, Sharon had already proven her talents behind the scenes. She played a critical role in shaping Ozzy’s solo career, helping him rebuild after his departure from Black Sabbath and navigating him through personal and professional challenges. Her combination of business acumen and fierce loyalty made her a powerhouse in music management, earning respect even in the male-dominated world of rock…

For instance, Did Ozzy REALLY snort a line of ants as depicted in Motley Crue’s 2019 bio-pic, The Dirt? ** Did Ozzy Osbourne actually snort a line of ants while on tour with Mötley Crüe in the ’80s? As for whether that story is actually true, that depends on which Osbourne you ask.
