Anthony Elanga hopes lightning strikes twice for Nottingham Forest at Chelsea.

The former Manchester United winger scored his first Forest goal at Stamford Bridge last season in a shock 1-0 victory.

“Hopefully we can go there, just be brave and believe we can go there and win,” Elanga told BBC Radio Nottingham ahead of Forest’s trip to west London.

“I fee like we’ve got the players to do so. We respect Chelsea they’ve had a good start to their season.”

“Cole Palmer is in really good form and a player I know well from the academy days (in Manchester). He’s special and someone to look out for.”

“But they have many players in Nicolas Jackson, Noni Madueke and a friend of mine Jadon (Sancho) who has had a really good start to the season and they are a good team with a new manager.”

“It’s important we stick to what we know best and try to play our game.”

Forest’s away form has taken them into the the top half of the Premier League table.

Both of their wins have come on the road with 1-0 successes at Southampton and Liverpool.

“We’ve been playing really well away from home,” said Sweden international Elanga.

“It’s been a fairly good start to the season. We’ve had a few games where we could have finished teams off but it’s still early doors.”

“We’ve still got so many more games to go and I feel like we’re on a good path.”

“We were disappointing at home against Fulham (Forest lost 1-0) and this is an an opportunity to bounce back.”

Forest’s matches have seen the fewest goals in the Premier League with 11 six scored and five conceded in their opening six games.

Boss Nuno Espirito Santo said: “The team has been solid and compact but it’s about teamwork.”

“(It is) not only the defensive line and midfield, it starts with pressure from the front and covering the spaces.”

“It’s going to be very important against Chelsea because they have good players and play good football. It will require a lot of hard work from us.”
